Guests to Whitehorse Ranch are welcomed on a reservation basis, year round.

Guest House:

We have a three bedroom, two bath, stone guest house that has been pretty nicely remodeled and is furnished with period furnishing. The guest house is right next to the cantina. Everyone else who has stayed in the guest house has been very happy with it.

On the wilder side we have the Sweeny Cabin, a rock line cabin about eight miles up the canyon from the main ranch. We have about eight groups each year rent the Sweeny cabin as the center of their getaway. Generally these groups do their own thing on 4-wheelers and or horses and provide their own food.

As for rates we have basically broken it down along these lines. For guests who are staying in our guest house accommodations, engaging in self directed activities, and using their own food it is $60.00 per day per person. If the guests are eating with the crew in the cantina the rate is $75.00, same as the bunkhouse.

Bunkhouse:

We have a clean old-fashioned bunkhouse with individual rooms, common bathroom, living room and laundry. We have four guest rooms available.
Smoking is allowed outside only.

Bunkhouse rates:

The single occupancy rate for a bunkhouse room is $75.00 per night.

The double occupancy rate is $90.00.

Tipi:

Sleeping in a tipi is a wonderful experience and if you have not done so before, we highly recommend it.
One tipi will sleep four people comfortably and the other six people.

Tipi rates:

The daily base charge for booking a tipi is $60.00 per night for the first guest and $25 for each additional guest.

Pets:

Your clean, well behaved dog, that does not bark unnecessarily, wearing a flea collar and up on its shots can be with you in your room.
We have an outdoor kennel for your pet during your absence.

Meals:

Our cookhouse is staffed from approximately April 15th to the October 15th.

The cook is preparing food for buckaroos, the farming crew and guests so the meals are hearty and generally served family style.

Breakfast is served at 6:00 am, lunch at 12:00 noon, and dinner at 6:00 pm.
Meal time is over 45 minutes after it starts so if you come late and/or don’t eat fast, you may be taking your meal with you on a paper plate.
On Sundays, evening supper is the only meal served.
We often barbecue during the summer.
When we are not serving meals in the cookhouse we have a microwave, hot plate, refrigerator and coffee pot in the bunkhouse living room.

Cantina:

We have a cantina in the middle of the ranch complex with a championship 1950’s Brunswick billiards table.
We do not sell or provide any alcoholic beverages on the ranch but you are welcomed to bring your own, providing that you drink responsibly and conduct yourself politely at all times.

Fuel:

We have fuel and can provide some in an emergency but we do not sell gas or diesel so please plan to bring your own.

Exploring the Ranch:

Guests at Whitehorse Ranch can travel on the many roads within the ranch, providing that they drive carefully and respect the fact that we are a working ranch and farm and not a collection of highways.
We are operating a variety of powered equipment throughout the ranch and are not always looking for traffic.
You need to look out for us!
Always leave a gate the way you found it.
If it was open it was probably open for a reason.
If the gate was closed there was a reason for that too.
We have many miles of gravel roads.
We do not drive on the fields except for a specific and important reason.

Please do not go into the fields where horses are kept unaccompanied.
There may be stallions, mares with colts, or any variety of arrangements that you might not understand and could be dangerous to you unless someone is there to explain it to you.

Hunting:

Very limited access to the private lands of Whitehorse Ranch for big game hunting is allowed only on a reservation basis. Access conditions and fees vary by season so if you are interested please inquire well in advance of hunting season.
